On Thursday, May 25, 2017, Attorney Nathan Olin of Olin Lippiello LLP, presented remarks on behalf of the Massachusetts Chapter of the Federal Bar Association welcoming United States Bankruptcy Judge Elizabeth Katz to the bench. The event was held at Slainte Restaurant in Holyoke and was attended by over thirty lawyers and five federal and state judges.

Judge Katz assumed her duties earlier in 2017 and now oversees all bankruptcy cases originating in Western Massachusetts. Nathan Olin, a former career attorney with the United States District Court, is the national council delegate for the FBA’s Massachusetts chapter and he also coordinates all of the chapter’s committees state-wide. The FBA is committed to strengthening the ties between the federal judiciary, the bar, and the communities that they serve.
